My name is Jenni and I established The Animal Business in 2005 to meet the growing needs of today’s busy pet owners.

I have loads of experience in dealing with dogs in particular – I have successfully competed in Obedience with my own dog Meg – a Springer Spaniel, and previously with Border Collies and German Shepherds.  I used to judge obedience classes at shows and also at a Kennel Club Registered Club where I was an instructor for over 12 years. I dabbled in show training with Kayan – my Hungarian Vizsla – I would like to say that we were successful but although I took it very seriously it soon became apparent that Kayan was only there for a laugh 🙁

Sadly Kayan and Meg have both died now – Kayan was a fantastic boy – really true to his breed, Meg…. well just occasionally a dog comes along who is the best of the best of the best – and she was that dog.

Here I am with Honey – Honey had been mistreated in her early life so it took a while for her to trust us, but apart from being incredibly bossy with the other dogs her sweet nature soon shone through.

Pet Care Services Including Dog Walking In Solihull

It is quite a different business to the one that began in 2005 – we now offer a variety of services including dog walking, puppy visits, quick toilet break visits, cat sitting and dog boarding.

The variety of animals that we now have experience of dealing with has also grown – we recently helped with some hens (did you know they ate ham? – how weird is that! – like food eating food!)

In 2015 we moved from Solihull to a beautiful property just outside Beoley in Worcestershire. We’re on 2.5 acres here so I decided my next pet would have hooves …..so I got Frankie 🙂

Here he is with my lovely grandchildren. Nothing is ever simple though in the land of pet ownership and Frankie brought with him his own unique set of problems which we are currently “dealing” with – whoever would have thought a little pony could be so naughty… 🙂

If there is a service that you are after that I haven’t mentioned here please still ask about it – we’ve done all sorts of ad hoc jobs – if we can’t help out we usually know someone who can!
